Wales’ defender, Ben Davies, will be absent from the team for their Euro 2024 qualification match against Turkey due to the recent birth of his first child.

Additionally, striker Kieffer Moore will not be available following his red card in the previous match against Armenia, and goalkeeper Tom King did not travel to Samsun.

After suffering a humiliating 4-2 home defeat to Armenia, Rob Page’s team aims to recover and regain their form. Currently, Turkey leads Group D, with Wales trailing by two points in third place. The unexpected absence of these two key players poses a challenge for Page as he strives to guide Wales to victory against Turkey.

The defeat against Armenia is considered one of Wales’ worst performances in recent years, despite their previous achievements of qualifying for two European Championships and a World Cup since 2016.
