Spanish publication El National has reported that Liverpool have put forward an offer worth €60m for Real Madrid’s midfielder Federico Valverde. Los Blancos had previously turned down the initial offer as they are looking to garner at least €100m for the Uruguayan midfielder.
And now the report suggests that the Reds have submitted a second offer worth €80m plus add-ons for the midfielder, totalling up to Real’s valuation.
Jude Bellingham’s arrival in Madrid means that the Spanish heavyweights are overstocked in the midfield and could let Valverde leave if the right offer arrives for the versatile player.
