Liverpool are edging towards bringing in Alexis Mac Allister to Anfield as ‘personal terms are almost agreed’ with the Brighton & Hove Albion star, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The talks between the player’s representatives and the club appear to be getting along well. Romano further adds that the Reds are set to pay Mac Allister’s exit clause which is under £70m.
Mac Allister’s contract doesn’t have a standard release clause in his contract. It is essentially a gentleman’s agreement about the rough price a suitor like Liverpool had to reach to sign the player. A full agreement for the transfer of Mac Allister could be done by next week.
