The House of Representatives has commended President Bola Tinubu for his decision to remove subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit popularly known as petrol.
The commendation was a sequel to the unanimous adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by a member of the House, Jimoh Olajide (APC/Lagos), at the plenary on Tuesday.
Tinubu had in his inaugural address on Monday hinted at petrol subsidy removal by his administration.
