Chelsea wins fourth successive WSL

Chelsea Football Club Women’s Team has won the Women Super League for the fourth successive season.

A 3-0 win over relegating Reading Women, two goals by Sam Kerr and a goal form Guro Reiten means Chelsea end the season a double winner for the 3rd season running.

After being knocked out of the UCL in the semifinals by Barcelona Femeni, Chelsea Women was left to play three outstanding matches to be equal in matches played with Manchester United who sit first. Chelsea took the assignment with full focus as they score 15 goals and conceded just one, seeing off Liverpool, Everton and Leciester in the process.

They then took a trip to Westham, winning by four goals without conceding before facing Arsenal for the last match at Kingsmeadow. The last game of the season see Chelsea travel to Reading, while Manchester United travel to Liverpool.

Though Manchester United won against a Liverpool, it wasn’t enough to earn them anything, as Chelsea was on full throttle to get pass Reading to win the so much needed WSL to send off departing captain Magda Eriksson and Pernille Harder.
