It was all about fat donations on Friday at the public presentation and book launch of biographies, life, times, and leadership experience of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The two books titled “State of Repair: How Muhammadu Buhari Tried to Change Nigeria for Good”, written by Antony Goldman and “The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari”, written by Senator Abu Ibrahim were launched at the event.
Making donations at the event for the book launch, Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, gave N200 million, followed by the Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, who launched the books with the sum of N100 million, while Muhammed Idimi also launched the books with N100 million
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima obtained copies for a combined amount of N40 million.
Also present at the event was the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Akufo-Addo, who said history would be kind to President Buhari.
Akufo-Addo who was the Chairman of the occasion appreciated Buhari, while noting that Africa and the world would miss his leadership when he leaves office in a few days.
The books were reviewed by the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and Professor Abubakar Sadeeque Abba.
