The distinguished titles of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) will be conferred upon them, as announced by Tolu Ogunlesi, the President’s Special Assistant on Digital and New Media, through a concise statement shared on Twitter.
Furthermore, the statement also revealed that the official handover of Transition Documents to the incoming Administration will take place on the same day. President Buhari’s signing of Executive Order 14 is credited for enabling this highly organized and seamless Presidential Transition, which is anticipated to become a significant milestone in Nigeria’s history.
