According to a report from the Spanish daily SPORT, Liverpool have benefited greatly from Barcelona’s withdrawal from the race to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Reds are eyeing a midfield overhaul this season and have shortlisted the Portuguese defensive midfielder as one of the players who they believe will be a great addition to their midfield.
Meanwhile, the Catalans’ sporting management believes that Neves is not a priority signing even though long-time servant Sergio Busquets has announced that he’ll be leaving the club this summer.
