A report from Calciomercato claims that Liverpool are interested in signing 23-year-old Dutch centre-back Perr Schuurs this summer, with Newcastle United also on the prowl.
Schuurs joined Torino ahead of the start of this season and has quickly established himself as one of the better centre-backs in Serie A.
The Reds believe that the Dutch international would make a good centre-back pairing with Virgil van Dijk and provide competition to Ibrahima Konate. Schuurs is currently valued at €18 million.
