Former Manchester City Sergio Aguero, has openly expressed his wish for Lionel Messi to return to Barcelona. The two footballers are close friends and have previously been teammates in the Argentina national team.
Over the last few months, there have been strong rumours linking Messi with a potential return to Barcelona, as his current contract with Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of the season. It has been reported that the 35-year-old superstar and his current club are not looking to extend the deal.
Aguero noted that: “Wherever he feels like. That is the best place for him,”
“I wish Leo the best because he deserves it. Nothing can beat whatever his choice is.”
“I would love to see him play for Barca again, but as I said, it is on him to decide.
“We all know what Leo can give back to Barca once more.”
