On Thursday morning, the District Head of Kasuwar Daji, Ibrahim Sarkin Fada, was abducted from his home in Zamfara State by a group of heavily armed bandits. The attackers targeted the district head’s residence in Kasuwar Daji village, and they fired numerous gunshots to intimidate the locals who attempted to rescue him.
According to a local resident named Malam Audu Mohammed, the bandits arrived in large numbers and took the district head to their hideout. Bello, another witness, reported hearing gunshots around 2:30 to 3:00 am and was informed of the abduction at 4:00 am. As of the time of writing, there has been no official statement from security agents regarding the situation.
