According to Spor Arena, Besiktas are open to signing him on a permanent basis, but the final decision will hinge on boss Senol Gunes.
The Burnley striker has already granted his approval for a return. He reportedly told Besiktas: “I can return if we agree on the terms.”
The Dutch international spent the first half of the season on loan with the Turkish outfit from Burnley, but decided to terminate his loan move in January to join the Red Devils.
His time at Old Trafford has been solid if unspectacular, with just two goals and three assists and it is now claimed that he could return to Besiktas for a second spell.
