According to Football Insider, Manchester City have changed their minds about potentially entertaining to bids for Jack Grealish during the summer window.
Bellingham, who is valued at £150m, has emerged as one of Pep Guardiola’s top transfer targets in recent months. Surprisingly, it was Jack Grealish which was discussed in the hierarchy as potentially the man to make way for Bellingham at the Etihad despite costing them a British record fee of £100m in 2021.
The former Villa winger was in danger of being sold, with Guardiola said to be unsure about his ability to fit into the Spaniard’s style of play.
However, Grealish has been in his best form in a City shirt since the World Cup, and has forced a change of stance at the board level. He is one of the first names on the team sheet for Guardiola after building a fine relationship with Haaland.
The report adds that if the Cityzens are to complete a mega-money deal for Bellingham in the off-season, they will need to sell other talents.
