Bayern Munich has confirmed Anthony Barry has joined up with Thomas Tuchel’s new backroom team.
Barry joined Chelsea in 2020 and has since watched his reputation grow on an international scale, becoming close with Tuchel during the German’s spell in the dugout at Stamford Bridge.
Shortly after Tuchel’s appointment at Bayern earlier this year, the boss confirmed his desire to reunite with Barry. An approach was made in March and, as 90min reported, an agreement was eventually reached to buy the coach out of his contract in London.
Now, Bayern has confirmed Barry’s arrival in the German capital.
