Football Insider has reported that Manchester City’s midfielder Kalvin Phillips is prepared to fight for his spot under Pep Guardiola despite interest from multiple English clubs.
Phillips left Leeds United in the summer for a transfer fee of £42m but the England international has failed to break into Man City’s team sheet hinting towards an exit.
Despite interest from former employees Leeds United and David Moyes’ West Ham United, Phillips is prepared to stay at the Etihad and compete for a position having fallen down the pecking order behind Rodri and Silva.
