UWCL: Chelsea and Wolfsburg wins in France

Chelsea beat title holder Lyon at home in France thanks to a Guro Reiten curler while Wolfsburg defeat PSG at home in France too courtesy of a Dominique Janseen penalty.

Chelsea beats Lyon 1-0 to have a first leg advantage over a team that has won 6 of the last 7 UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies, with the return leg scheduled for 30th March, 2023 at Stamford Bridge.

Wolfsburg beat PSG in Paris as Elisa De Almeida sees red, with Dominique Janseen scoring the results penalty to give the German side an advantage going to the second leg at home.

The result means all the quarterfinals game ended in a 1-0 victory for all the winners, with only Bayern Munich winning at home.
