With no title won since 2019, Arsenal Women had a taste of silverware once again after defeating Chelsea Women 3-1 at Selhurst Park to be crowned Continental Cup Champions.

After going down by a goal at the second minute of the game by a Sam Kerr header, they haul back by scoring three goals before halftime led by the massive display of captain Kim Little.

This victory has made them the club side to have won the most continental cup trophies. They have won the trophy in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018 and now 2023, that’s a record six times and no other team has won more.

Attention now turned to chasing the pack of Manchester United and Chelsea in the Women Super League and also a mouth-watering UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter final tie with Bayern Munich upcoming.
