Tomato grower’s Association of Nigeria has revealed that there may be a shortage of tomatoes this year due to federal government policies and other determinants.

Yadakwari said this has reduced farmers’ interest in growing crops, adding that it will result in country men’s demoralization over farming this year.

To be honest, the members took this information with nostalgia and put all their efforts into tomato production. ”
He also revealed that election season has become an obstacle for many of his tomato traders who are unwilling to leave their domain

Most of our members have decided not to grow tomatoes this year and in connection with the election period there may be a shortage of tomatoes in Nigeria this year.
The chairman also said the Central Bank of Nigeria has declared changes to the recovery process, which will exacerbate the problems of farmers.
