NIGERIA DECIDES 2023: TINUBU WIN POLLS IN BENUE STATE

According to the latest announcement, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, has won the presidential election in Benue State held on Saturday. With 310,468 votes, Tinubu surpassed his closest rival, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who obtained 308,372 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party came in third with 130,081 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party obtained 4,740 votes.

The number of registered voters was 2,772,977, out of which 840,189 were accredited to vote. The valid votes totaled 770,075, while 27,687 votes were rejected, resulting in a total of 797,762 votes cast.
