For the fifth consecutive week, Miley Cyrus’ song “Flowers” has maintained its position as the top song in the world, according to the latest Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts dated February 25th.

These charts rank songs based on a combination of streaming and sales data gathered from over 200 territories worldwide, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 includes data from all over the world, while the Global Excl. U.S. chart only includes data from territories outside of the U.S. The chart rankings are determined using a formula that takes into account both paid subscription streams and ad-supported streams on audio and video music services, as well as download sales from digital music retailers worldwide (excluding direct-to-consumer sales).
