Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Sesko are allegedly among the top strikers Manchester United wants to recruit this summer.
According to ESPN, despite Wout Weghorst’s loan signing, which if successful is considered as a short-term contract, United are eager to find a long-term solution to their front-line problems.
Additionally, Manchester United is moving on with their plan to loan out striker Wout Weghorst.
Besiktas, where the 30-year-old is presently on loan, is apparently looking for compensation before a deal can be reached.
Despite the negotiations between United and his parent club, Burnley, Weghorst looked to wave an emotional farewell to the club’s supporters after scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-1 Super Lig victory over Kasimpasa at the weekend.
According to sky sports, Manchester United is waiting to learn whether Burnley and Besiktas can agree to shorten Wout Weghorst’s loan.
Weghorst must be registered by the Red Devils by Friday at 12 p.m., though, in order for him to play in the Manchester derby on Saturday.
According to Diogo Dalot, a new deal with Manchester United is currently the subject of negotiations.
“We are in a position to say that we are negotiating and seeing how both parties will benefit, but it is no secret that I am happy to be here, so we will see how things go” he said.
