APC PCC RELEASE AN UPDATED CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE

The updated campaign schedule for APC presidential candidate has been made public by the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC) in advance of the elections on February 25.

The evaluation followed a key and strategic meeting between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the front-runner for the presidency, Senator Kashim Shetimma, the Campaign Council, and members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) on Monday night in Abuja.

According to the updated schedule, President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to speak at rallies in Kwara State on January 17, in Bauchi on January 23, and in Ogun State on January 25 as part of the Southwest zone campaign. While the South-South mega march takes place on January 29, the Sokoto campaign that was originally scheduled for January 16 does will now hold on January 29 and the South-South mega rally is expected in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital on the 30th.

On February 4, the President will attend a rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, and on February 6, he will serve as the main host in Kastina State. On February 14, he would also travel to Owerri, Imo State.

On January 13, the NESG and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, are scheduled to interact. The following day, he will meet with all APC state chairmen, governor candidates, and National Assembly candidates.

On January 19, the campaign train will arrive in Calabar, and on January 20, the campaign team will visit Jigawa State from Taraba State. The campaign council will wrap off the month in Anambra on January 31 before moving on to Abia State on January 21; Benue on January 24; Zamfara State on January 26; and Benue on January 28.

On January 27, in Abuja, Senator Kashim Shetimma, the vice presidential candidate, is scheduled to launch and commission tractors for the All Farmers Progressive Association.

The campaign team will stay in Kebbi on February 1 while Ekiti and Osun receive them on February 2 and 3, respectively.

The campaign train will travel to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, on the 11th of February after rallies in the states of Oyo, Kogi, and Rivers on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of February.

Rallies are scheduled for the 13th, 15th, and 16th of February in Gombe, Borno, and Kano States, respectively. The Osun State rally, which was originally scheduled for January 18, will now take place on the 18th of February.

The presidential candidate will hold town hall meetings with Nigerian health professionals in Abuja on February 10 and with leaders of the Southwest in Lagos on February 17.

The campaign will end with a mega rally on February 18 in Lagos, and election planning will take place from February 21 to 24 in preparation for the presidential and national assembly elections on February 25.
