The hospitals being renovated are spread across the three senatorial zones of the State. In zone one, the hospitals include General Hospital Ikara, General Hospital Maigana in Soba LGA, and General Hospital Saminaka in Lere LGA.
In zone two, the hospitals undergoing upgrades are General Hospital Rigasa in Igabi LGA, General Hospital Giwa in Giwa LGA, and General Hospital Sabon Tasha in Chikun LGA.
Zone three includes General Hospital Gwantu in Sanga LGA, Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Hospital in Kafanchan, Jema’a LGA, and General Hospital Kachia in Kachia LGA.
According to Abdullahi, the primary focus of this transformation effort is the General Hospital in Maigana, located in Soba Local Government Area, which is currently undergoing a complete overhaul.
