These accolades were presented to the football legends during the UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco on Thursday evening. Ronaldo, widely regarded as a symbol of European football excellence, was celebrated by UEFA for his unrivaled status as the top scorer in the competition’s history.
The award was handed to Ronaldo by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin during the 2024/25 UCL draw ceremony on Thursday, August 29. With 140 goals in 183 appearances, Ronaldo’s record has established a new benchmark in the Champions League, solidifying his place in the tournament’s history.
