American actress and media personality Amanda Seales has alleged that the assassination attempt on former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump was “staged.”
At Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, two people died and the former president was rushed off stage by security after gunshots were fired, according to the Associated Press. The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the suspect involved in the attempted assassination.
Despite official confirmations, Seales voiced her skepticism about the authenticity of the incident.
In a video posted on her social media, Seales claimed the event was “staged,” arguing that gunshots don’t sound like “making popcorn on the stove.”
She stated, “That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President. I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Where did the bullet come from? In theater and movies, there is something called a blood pellet. You place it in your mouth, crush it, and then blood comes out. To be frank, Trump would not respond by raising his hand in the air if an actual attempt was made on his life.”
