Dr. Ahmad Sindhi, Chairman of the Mu’assasa group (Ithraa Al Khair), has hailed the 2024 Hajj as the most successful in recent years. He attributed this success to the dedication and efforts of everyone involved, including his company and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) led by Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi. Dr. Sindhi made these remarks at an end-of-Hajj dinner hosted by Ithraa Al Khair Company of Mutawwifs (Mu’assasa) for NAHCON.

The event, held at the Crowne Plaza in Jeddah and detailed in a statement by Fatima Sanda Usara, Assistant Director of Public Affairs at the Commission, was attended by Executive Secretaries and Chairmen of State Pilgrims Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commissions, Private Tour Operators, and other guests. The dinner celebrated the achievements and innovations of this year’s pilgrimage.

Dr. Sindhi expressed his pride in the commitments fulfilled by Ithraa Al Khair, such as bringing 60 chefs from Nigeria to prepare specialized meals for the country’s pilgrims and providing air-conditioned tents in Arafat.

He emphasized the high standards set by Ithraa Al Khair and the widespread appreciation for their unique services, including significant improvements in Muzdalifa and the investment of nearly $200,000,000 in developing Mina tents. He also commended NAHCON Chairman Malam Jalal Arabi and other NAHCON staff for their dedication, presenting gifts to NAHCON in gratitude for their partnership.

NAHCON Chairman Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi also declared the 2024 Hajj a success, noting that the majority opinion was positive. He acknowledged the need for improvements where progress was uneven and urged stakeholders to collaborate on solutions to identified challenges, cautioning against time-consuming conflicts in the time-sensitive Hajj operations.
