NSCDC Deploys Over 3,000 Personnel for Eid-el-Kabir in Kano

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 3,168 personnel to ensure law and order during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations throughout the state.

In a statement issued on Friday in Kano, Command spokesperson Ibrahim Abdullahi announced the deployment, emphasizing that officers will work in coordination with the Nigerian Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State Road Traffic Agency, and other agencies. Their joint effort will focus on maintaining law and order and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic before, during, and after the festivities.

Abdullahi also relayed instructions from the Command’s Commandant, Mohammed Falala, urging officers to be vigilant and protect critical national assets and infrastructure as mandated by the Corps’ establishing Act.

“The State Commandant has approved the deployment of 3,168 personnel to oversee the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in Kano,” Abdullahi stated.

He further urged the residents of Kano to cooperate with security personnel and adhere to laws to ensure a peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
