President Tinubu Orders Security Agencies to Pursue Katsina Attack Terrorists

President Bola Tinubu has ordered security agencies to pursue the terrorists responsible for the recent attack that claimed the lives of approximately 26 villagers in Katsina State on Sunday.

The terrorists raided Dutsin-Ma and Kankara Local Government Areas, resulting in these tragic deaths.

The attack occurred on Sunday, June 10, at around 3:00 pm in Gidan Boka village. Police reports indicate that bandits armed with dangerous weapons attacked Gidan Boka, killing 20 villagers and injuring two others. As the bandits fled through Dan Nakwabo village, they reportedly killed an additional five people.

In a statement released by his spokesman on Tuesday, President Tinubu strongly condemned the attacks in Dutsin-Ma and Kankara Local Government Areas, describing them as gruesome and sinister. He emphasized the need for intensified efforts to protect citizens and eradicate terrorists and other perpetrators of violence across the country.

President Tinubu instructed security agencies to track down the attackers and ensure they are brought to justice. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Katsina State, and prayed for the repose of the departed souls.
