The state government has initiated a committee to delve into the operations of Taraba Television Station following the recent suspension of its general manager by Governor Agbu Kefas.

Led by Taraba State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Yakubu Maikasuwa, the committee has been tasked with conducting a thorough and impartial investigation.

They are directed to scrutinize various aspects including the station’s revenue sources, debt reduction strategies, reasons for downtime, allegations of insubordination, and the feasibility of commercialization for sustainability.

Chaired by Justice Hamidu Audu, the five-member committee, represented by its secretary, Liberty Andrew, is actively seeking input from the public, station staff, and professional unions through the submission of memoranda.
