The Nigeria Police Force has issued a warrant for the arrest of Dorcas Adeyinka, a Lagos socialite and blogger, on charges of cyber-stalking, abduction, and murder.
Adeyinka, described as a married Yoruba blogger hailing from Ekiti State and residing in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, is reportedly light-skinned with black eyes, approximately 1.64m tall, and possesses distinct facial features including tribal marks, a pointed nose, wide mouth, and full white dentition.
The police have urged Nigerians to apprehend and deliver the suspect to the nearest police station or the office of the IGP Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja. Although Adeyinka is said to reside in the United Kingdom, she frequently visits Ikeja, Ogudu, Fagba, Sango, and Ota.
In a separate legal development, the Chief Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, has summoned socialites Tolulope Adeoye, known as Abike Jagaban, and Tolulope Odegbami, also known as Olowosibi, for sharing a nude photo of Adeyinka.
According to ThePunch, the court summons, dated Thursday, May 9, 2024, requires Adeoye and Odegbami to appear before the court on June 4, 2024, to answer the charges against them. The application highlights that on March 5, 2022, Adeoye shared the complainant’s nude pictures on YouTube, directing her followers to various online platforms where the pictures were shared, ridiculing the complainant in the process.
This act allegedly exposed the complainant to contempt, hatred, and detestation, as evidenced by disparaging remarks made against her in the comment section of the post. Adeoye is further accused of bullying the complainant in another video titled “How Abike Jagaban Bully Dorcas Adeyinka.”
