Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr festivities in the Lagos, as stated by the presidency in a release issued on Saturday.Â
Eid-el-Fitr is a significant celebration signifying the end of Ramadan, a month devoted to fasting observed by Muslims worldwide.
The statement from the presidency indicates, “President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja, the Nation’s Capital, for Lagos on Sunday in anticipation of Eid-el-Fitr. In respect for the solemn occasion marking the conclusion of Ramadan, the President will partake in prayers for Nigeria and spend time with family. The President will also fulfill official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.”
