The Jigawa Government has granted approval for a budget of over ₦1.4 billion to be allocated towards the construction and renovation of mosques throughout the state.
Additionally, funds will be allocated for the fencing of graveyards in 30 constituencies across Jigawa.
This decision was communicated by Sagir Musa, the Commissioner for Information, Youths, Sports, and Culture, during a press briefing in Dutse. Musa further explained that the State Executive Council approved the allocation of these funds, which will also be utilized for the construction of palaces for District Heads.
He clarified that the allocated ₦1.4 billion is designated for the implementation of the 2023 Constituency Projects.
