Nigerian Air Force Boosts Leadership: 38 Senior Officers Decorated with Promotions

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has formally adorned 38 recently promoted senior officers with elevated ranks of Air Vice Marshal (AVM) and Air Commodores.

This distinguished group includes 22 AVMs and 16 Air Commodores, and they have been entrusted with the crucial task of devising innovative solutions to address the persisting security challenges.

Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru, emphasized the imperative for the military to conduct a comprehensive reassessment of their strategies, techniques, tactics, and procedures to effectively counter prevailing security threats. He stated, “We must, therefore, review our strategies, techniques, tactics, and procedures to contain these challenges and assure our fellow citizens of their security and safety.”

Furthermore, he called upon the decorated officers to leverage their wealth of knowledge, wisdom, ingenuity, and critical thinking capabilities cultivated over the years. Their mission is to elevate the Nigerian Air Force to higher standards and actively contribute to the realization of a peaceful and more prosperous Nigeria.
