Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is rallying backing for the Nigerian military’s involvement in Niger. In a communication presented during a session by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the president called for a complete closure of maritime and aerial pathways to the nation due to the recent military coup.
Remember, the military toppled the legitimately elected administration in Niger Republic a short while ago. Furthermore, they confiscated properties belonging to politically influential and high-ranking individuals from Niger’s government within the country, in alignment with the ECOWAS decision.
