The names of the Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of the 130 Standing Committees for the 10th Assembly have been announced by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas. The appointed individuals include Hon. Abubakar Bichi as Chairman of Appropriations, Hon. Bamidele Salam as head of Public Accounts, Hon. Adamu Tanko overseeing Diaspora affairs, Hon. Okonta Chris focusing on Climate Change, Hon. Chris Ogene handling Renewable Energy matters, Hon. Bello el-Rufai in charge of Banking Regulations, and Hon. Ibrahim Bukar-Ibrahim responsible for Rural Electrification.
