President Bola Tinubu has appointed individuals to serve as members of the governing board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
In a letter addressed to the Senate, Tinubu requested the screening and subsequent confirmation of the nominated individuals for the governing board of the North East Development Commission.
Yesterday, the President of the Senate, Senator GodsWill Akpabio, read the letter from the President.
The nominees to be confirmed include General Paul Tarfa as Chairman (representing North East Adamawa), Hon Gambo Maikyau as a member (representing North East Taraba), Abdullahi Abbas as a member (representing North West Kano), Zaf Steven Ondora as a member (representing North Central Benue), and Chief Mutiu Lawal Areh as a member (representing South West Lagos).
