In a statement released on Tuesday, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson to Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, announced that the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed commissioners will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19th. The event is scheduled for 10 am at the Local Government Service Commission building in the Government Secretariat, Osogbo.
The Governor emphasized the importance of all commissioner designates being seated before 10 am. Furthermore, on Tuesday, the Osun State House of Assembly confirmed the appointments of the 25 commissioner nominees previously submitted to them by Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on July 4th. The Governor had requested the legislators to screen and approve the nominees for their positions as commissioners and members of the state executive council.
