The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, has officially resigned, and as a result, the party has decided to postpone the previously scheduled meetings of the national caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) to be held at a later, unspecified date. Acting in his place, the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the party, Abubakar Kyari, announced these developments to reporters following a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) held at the APC headquarters in Abuja.
Additionally, the resignation of the party’s National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, has been confirmed, and he has been temporarily replaced by the deputy National Secretary, Festus Fuanter, in an acting capacity.
