Governor Muhammed Bago of Niger State has appealed to road users to display understanding and collaborate with the state government’s efforts to repair a section of the Minna-Bida road that has deteriorated. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor emphasized the necessity of the rehabilitation project to proactively prevent the annual collapse of multiple cell culverts on the road, especially during the rainy season.
The Governor stated that the six-hour rehabilitation work will commence on the 18th of this month, starting from 12 pm and concluding at 6 pm, in order to achieve optimal outcomes. He assured the people of Niger State of his dedication to improving the state’s infrastructure.
Additionally, Governor Umar Bago encouraged commuters to utilize alternative routes such as the Bida-Zungeru-Minna road and the Bida-Lapai-Minna road while the rehabilitation work is ongoing.
