Erling Haaland made history by becoming the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goal contributions as Manchester City were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by fellow top-four contenders Brighton at the Etihad Stadium.

The game continued at a blistering pace, and after the break, Abdukodir Khusanov inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, allowing Brighton to equalize for the second time. The Seagulls, riding high on a four-game winning streak, grew more confident as the match progressed.
Both teams had chances to take all three points. Yankuba Minteh let a golden opportunity slip through his legs at the back post, Carlos Baleba fired over the bar from close range, and Nico Gonzalez struck the post for City. Despite the high drama and numerous missed opportunities, neither side could find the decisive goal.
