PSG controlled the game from the start, keeping Brest at bay. The visitors had an early chance, but Marquinhos cleared off the line in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute, Barcola gave PSG the lead, finishing from a tight angle. Kvaratskhelia doubled the advantage six minutes before halftime, scoring his first Champions League goal for PSG.
The second half saw PSG continue to press, with Vitinha adding a third from the edge of the box. Luis Enrique made early substitutions, with Doue scoring a fourth after good work from Ramos. Nuno Mendes added a fifth (69′) from a Hakimi cross, followed by a sixth from Ramos (76′) off a Doue assist. Mayulu completed the scoring in the 86th minute with a Kvaratskhelia assist.
PSG now await their Round of 16 opponent—either Liverpool or Barcelona—confident in their chances.
