Dango Ouattara’s 89th-minute equalizer secured Bournemouth a crucial point in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Raúl Jiménez opened the scoring for Fulham with his sixth Premier League goal of the season, but Bournemouth’s Evanilson leveled early in the second half. After Harry Wilson restored Fulham’s lead with his second goal in as many games, substitute Ouattara struck late to force a share of the spoils.
Both teams extended their unbeaten runs to seven matches as Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva’s sides continued their push for European qualification.
Fulham started cautiously, with Bernd Leno denying Ryan Christie early, but they gained momentum through the dynamic Antonee Robinson, whose attacking runs caused problems. Jiménez put Fulham ahead after a well-executed corner from Andreas Pereira, guiding the ball into the bottom corner.
Bournemouth responded after halftime with Evanilson’s clinical finish following James Hill’s perfectly timed pass. The game opened up as both sides pressed for a winner, with Kepa Arrizabalaga saving Bournemouth from falling further behind before Leno denied Evanilson in a one-on-one.
Fulham reclaimed the lead through Wilson, who finished Robinson’s pinpoint cross. However, Bournemouth’s relentless pressing forced a late turnover, allowing Ouattara to calmly chip past Leno and secure a dramatic draw.
