Already assured of securing first place in Group E, Algeria took to the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium with unwavering focus, showing no signs of complacency despite their unassailable position.

The Fennecs, boasting an impressive unbeaten streak of 19 consecutive AFCON qualifiers, delivered yet another commanding performance that highlighted their dominance on the continental stage.

Liberia momentarily stunned the home crowd with an early breakthrough, as Sampson Dweh opened the scoring in the sixth minute. However, Algeria quickly regained control. Aïssa Mandi leveled the match in the 20th minute, and Riyad Mahrez put the hosts ahead just nine minutes later with a well-timed header that left the Liberian defense scrambling.

The second half belonged entirely to the Algerians, who unleashed their attacking firepower.
