Namibia’s winless run in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers extended this week with a 0-0 draw against Cameroon in Group J at Soweto’s Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.

Namibia showed determination early on, testing Cameroon’s defense with the first shots on goal. Though they applied pressure in midfield, Cameroon soon gained more possession but struggled to capitalize on forward movements, with Andre Onana needing to make key saves to keep Namibia out.

Namibia nearly broke the deadlock in the second half as Prins Tjiueza’s header hit the post, followed by another shot off the crossbar. Despite both teams creating chances, resilient defending on both sides kept the match scoreless until the final whistle, leaving them level at 0-0.
