In an effort to enhance the efficiency of justice delivery in Ondo State, Chief Judge Justice Olusegun Odusola has launched a new electronic court filing system. This initiative aims to expedite litigation and streamline judicial processes.
Justice Odusola explained that both lawyers and litigants can now complete oaths and file suits electronically, reflecting a trend seen in many advanced jurisdictions globally. He emphasized that the benefits of electronic filing are significant and assured that training will be provided to ensure that both the Bar and Bench can effectively use the new system.
The Chief Judge noted that with internet access, legal professionals can now file cases from anywhere in the world, facilitating faster justice delivery. Addressing potential challenges, the Chief Judge stated that judiciary staff will undergo training to familiarize themselves with the new system.
