The Israeli government has instructed its ambassador to Spain to return, following a decision by Spain, Norway, and Ireland to officially recognize a Palestinian state.

However, Foreign Minister Israel Katz has called for talks with the ambassadors of Norway and Ireland, where they will be shown a graphic video of Hamas’ attacks on October 7.

Katz strongly criticized the decision to recognize Palestine, accusing the three countries of honoring Hamas, a group he described as murderers and rapists.

He warned of serious consequences for their actions. Irish Foreign Minister Micheál Martin confirmed that the recognition of Palestine would take effect in all three countries on May 28.
