Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has hailed Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ambitious initiative in developing the Gateway International Agro Cargo and Passenger Airport.
He emphasized its potential to become a pivotal transportation nexus for the South-West region.
Gbajabiamila commended Governor Abiodun’s resolve in pushing forward with the airport project, contrasting it with the challenges faced by counterparts in other states.
Speaking to reporters at the airport after attending a significant event at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, he emphasized the transformative impact the airport would have on air travel, not only in the region but across Nigeria.
Highlighting the economic prospects, Gbajabiamila lauded the governor’s foresight, believing the airport would catalyze growth not only in Ogun State but also in neighboring states and the nation at large, ultimately enhancing business operations and economic activities.
