The police have arrested the suspected mastermind behind the brutal killings of passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train in March 2022.
Identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Mandi, this individual was apprehended by law enforcement authorities. The Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this development on Thursday.
Adejobi further disclosed that Mandi had previously been involved in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021. During Mandi’s arrest, the police seized 48 AK-47 rifles. Efforts are currently underway to determine Mandi’s sponsors and the sources of the weapons.
