Iconic singer Charles Oputa, famously known as Charly Boy, has unequivocally addressed the ongoing speculation regarding his sexual orientation.

Speaking in a recent interview with reality star Uriel Oputa, he made it clear that despite the rumors, he is not gay, although he acknowledges the possibility.

Charly Boy emphasized the three pillars that shape his life: consistency, tenacity, and audacity, highlighting how his openness about his own struggles has endeared him to many as a father figure. He also took the opportunity to express his unconventional beliefs, stating his skepticism towards traditional notions of love, religiosity, and spirituality.

Meanwhile, he affirmed that if he were gay, he would actively advocate for gay rights in Nigeria. Charly Boy also revealed a part of himself named Linda, recalling his portrayal of the character Miss Zigizigi during his time in the United States.

Despite his feminine traits, Charly Boy stands firm in his identity and orientation, dispelling rumors while reiterating his commitment to authenticity and advocacy.
