TVC Communications CEO Andrew Hanlon Steps Down After Seven Years

TVC Communications, the parent company of TVC News, TVC Entertainment, Max FM, and Adaba FM, has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Andrew Hanlon, effective April 30, 2024.

Hanlon, who has served in this capacity for seven years, is stepping down after a tenure marked by significant achievements.

During his tenure, Hanlon oversaw notable transformations within the organization, including organizational restructuring, infrastructural enhancements, and substantial economic growth. Under his leadership, there has been a remarkable 330 percent increase in the daily audience across all TV, radio, and social media platforms, reaching a staggering 23 million viewers, listeners, and readers by December 2023.

Meanwhile, his strategic initiatives have led to notable improvements in operating costs and revenue, ultimately driving the company towards profitability.

Following Hanlon’s departure, Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as the new CEO and MD, effective May 1, 2024. Ajayi brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, poised to continue the company’s trajectory of growth and success.
